Specification
Full size hockey pitch with sand dressed surface on our dual density shockpad laid over 2 course macadam engineered base. The project included installation of weldmesh surround fencing and floodlighting.
This excellent installation is designed primarily for hockey but, because of the dual density shockpad, provides a fantastic area for nine tennis courts.
Procurement
The project was tendered by the school’s consultant followed by a post tender review and negotiation with the clients representative. The final design was made after many visits to similar installations in the South of England.
Consultant/Architect
The installation was designed and supervised by Bob and Clive at the Sports Construction Consultancy Limited.
